Varador 2000 shipyard on the north coast of Barcelona. Repair and maintenance (repair & refit) of superyachts since 1984. Marina for superyachts in the port of Mataró (Mataró Marina Barcelona). At Varador 2000 we have been providing the best solutions for repair and maintenance of all types of boats, both sailing and motor, for 40 years. Our facilities have a cutting-edge technological infrastructure and human capital experts in all the most advanced industrial processes in the nautical industry (mechanics, carpentry, cabinetmaking, painting, electronics, hydraulics, welding, etc.).

The Varador 2000 headquarters are located in a privileged location, at the entrance to the port of Arenys de Mar , very close to Barcelona. The Varador 2000 Repair & Refit Shipyard occupies a technical esplanade of 10,000 square metres. Thanks to these powerful infrastructures, Varador 2000 offers its clients a comprehensive service in the Mediterranean with an unbeatable guarantee: experience, commitment, service, innovation and quality.

Our Mission

True to its vocation for the future and constant improvement, in 2011 Varador 2000 implemented ISO 9001 certification for its Quality Management System in its processes. Following the ISO certification process, in 2012, Varador 2000 also implemented the ISO 14001 Comprehensive Management System for its Environmental Management System and ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety.

Our History, Our Future

1984

Nautical Esplai

The second generation of the Mas family takes over the company Náutica Esplai, founded by Lluís Mas. A public limited company dedicated to nautical marketing and service is created.

1992

Arenys de Mar

The company manages the facilities of the Arenys de Mar dry dock (200-tonne travellift and 7,000 m² esplanade) that allow it to offer a comprehensive service to the nautical industry.

2003

Name Change

The company changes its name to Varador 2000. The technical area is extended to 10,000 m² and a painting booth for 35-metre boats is opened.

2008

Delegation in Palma

Opening of the Varador 2000 branch in Palma. The branch provides technical and logistical assistance and support to all Varador 2000 customers in the Balearic Islands. It also acts as the company's sales office.

2009

International Expansion

Varador 2000 begins to develop its international expansion, participating in the main nautical fairs and events in the world, such as the Monaco Yacht Show and others.

2011

Mataró Marina Barcelona

*Opening of Mataró Marina Barcelona, a nautical base for large boats located on the western dock of the Port of Mataró, located a few miles from Barcelona.

2012

ISO

Implementation of ISO 14001 for environmental management, ISO 45001 for occupational prevention (management of health and safety at work), and EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme).

2016

Cooking and Gastronomy for Superyachts

Organization of the first edition of the Cooking and Gastronomy for Superyachts course.

*Varador 2000 takes over the shipping management of the Barcelona Maritime Museum fleet

2017

Sirius Club

Opening of the Sirius Club, an exclusive space for captains and crew located within the facilities of the Mataró Marina Barcelona superyacht nautical base.
