The Varador 2000 facilities in Arenys de Mar meet all the requirements for quality management systems, environmental management and occupational prevention (health and safety management at work). The facilities, which strictly comply with the highest levels of requirements in these areas, are certified with the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 quality certificates by SGS, one of the most important companies in the world for assessing and auditing companies and systems.

Mechanics
The mechanical workshops located in Varador 2000 guarantee maximum reliability in all their processes, both in repair and maintenance of all types of engines. They are equipped with highly qualified personnel, who periodically refresh their knowledge by attending courses on innovation in new technologies taught by the leading brands in the sector such as MAN, Volvo Penta, Yanmar, Yamaha or Caterpillar, among others. In this way we can guarantee top quality attention and service. Varador 2000 has various in-house collaborators in its technical facility such as Motor Nautic Arenys and Global Motors Arenys.
Rigging
Varador 2000 manages complete projects that ensure fast and efficient navigation of any type of vessel. To do so, it has workshops specializing in rigging services that cover different departments and specialties: rigging, hardware, winches, hydraulics, sailmaking, ironwork, welding and metals, among others.
Carpentry
The shipyard offers its clients the Teak Clinic, a service whose objective is to adequately cover the maintenance needs of the teak surfaces of superyachts. The Teak Clinic is a benchmark in work with high quality teak wood and the ideal place to repair, maintain or change the teak of the boat. This service is carried out by its own highly trained and qualified staff and by staff from the carpentry workshops located in the shipyard.
Composites
Varador 2000 has a workshop specialising in laminates and composites at its repair & refit facilities in the port of Arenys de Mar. Managed by renowned specialists, it carries out work on laminates made of all types of fibres and resins such as carbon, kevlar/aramids, glass, epoxy, vinylester, polyester, PVC, etc.
Paint
Varador 2000 has a painting shed in its technical area for boats up to 35 metres in length, providing innovative solutions with products that protect, beautify and improve the performance of all types of boats. We work with leading brands such as Awl Grip, International, Hempel and Jotun, among others. Our in-house partner is Neptune Yacht Painters.
Electricity and Electronics
Varador 2000 designs and installs (repairs and maintenance) electrical equipment on any type of vessel. Our technical department develops projects that guarantee and improve the comfort of vessels and their crews. This includes the installation, repair or maintenance of climate control systems (air conditioning) and refrigeration systems (design of special refrigerators and freezers for boats).
Metalwork
One of the most unique specialties of the Varador 2000 shipyard is its boat transformation work, both structural and detailed. We carry out comprehensive reforms in aluminum, modifications in naval steel and design custom pieces for any corner or element of the boat.
Hydraulics
Varador 2000 carries out customized hydraulic projects based on the client’s needs. Its hydraulic workshop, run by an external company of recognized prestige in the nautical sector (Hymapro), develops and provides services of all kinds such as hydraulic cylinders, motors, PTO, interior doors, light sockets, gangways, cranes, valves, electrical packages and control panels, among others.
Upholstery and Velours
At the Varador 2000 shipyard we carry out comprehensive nautical upholstery projects (interior and exterior). We also offer our clients a comprehensive sailmaking and hardware service, artisan saddlery (leather work), technical ropework and technical mattresses for boats.
Polished
At Varador 2000 we have a specialized service for polishing, shining and sealing all types of boat surfaces. Our staff is expert in recovering contaminated surfaces and in the application of protective systems on all types of surfaces, especially painted surfaces (Protective Paint System). We also offer a general maintenance and boat cleaning service.
