Refit of the sailboat Tiziana in Varador 2000

Varador 2000 has successfully completed the maintenance of the sailboat Tiziana. The vessel, measuring 35.61 meters in length and 7.35 meters wide, has been docked during the winter months in Arenys de Mar, where it has undergone various repairs and other maintenance operations by the Varador 2000 team of professionals, leaving it as good as new.

The sailboat, built in 1963 by the renowned German shipyard Abeking and Rasmussen, is now sailing again after undergoing repairs to some essential elements and fine-tuning others. The main repair and refit work carried out on the Tiziana in recent months at the Varador 2000 facilities includes:

– Dismasting and re-rigging of the vessel.

– Complete disassembly and assembly of standing and maneuvering rigging.

– Complete varnishing of the main mast, mizzen and launchings.

– Penetrant testing and partial replacement of rigging.

– Professional candle cleaning.

– Installation of a new generator.

– Repair of the folding stern keel, blasting and complete anti-corrosion treatment.

– Dismantling the rudder and repairing the sector.

– Antifouling paint.

– Paint finish repairs on hull and deck.

-Helmet polishing and protection.

– MTU engine overhaul.

– Maintenance and commissioning of aacc systems, pumps and drainage.
