Varador 2000, Shipyard of the Year Award in the third edition of the Catalonia awards organized by the newspaper La Razón. Xiqui Mas, CEO of Varador 2000, collected the award presented by Francisco Marhuenda, director of the newspaper, and Santiago García-Nieto, vice president of Foment del Treball Nacional. The award recognizes the professional excellence of Varador 2000 on the company’s 40th anniversary.
Varador 2000 is the benchmark shipyard in Catalonia in the segment of medium and large lengths, between 15 and 50 meters. The company, with one hundred percent Catalan capital, manages more than 30,000 square meters of technical area distributed between the shipyard of the port of Arenys de Mar, the shipyard of the port of Blanes and a marina for large lengths in the port of Mataró (Mataró Marina Barcelona) with thirty moorings for boats up to 50 meters.
Varador 2000 develops complete projects, 360 degree programs, with specialized technical personnel of a high professional level. This way of working solves the most complex and sophisticated technical challenges and responds quickly and carefully to the needs of professionals in the sector (engineers, charter companies, etc.) and those of shipowners and captains.
